Hi, I'm Keriann.

And my journey to natural health has not always been so straight and narrow. In fact, my experiences have guided me towards a lifestyle I would have never thought possible. Let me explain:

In the year 2012, I had dug myself a deep hole. I was beginning my last year of college and had spent the last few in a dark, debilitating depression. I was sick. I was confused. And I needed to turn it around if I ever wanted to feel like myself again. I wasn’t sure what to try next. I felt I had exhausted my list of options. Up until this point, no one had taken me aside and explained to me the power of the mind-body connection. Never before had I stopped to consider that my body, mind, and spirit are linked. What I feed myself affects how I feel. What I tell myself affects how I feel. The things I believe and the actions I take all affect how I feel. It was really that simple. And then I realized, I do not know how to take care of myself.  How do I give my body what it needs to not only survive, but also thrive? Once I realized this, I gave myself permission to finally begin to heal. I gave myself permission to let go of the identity I had built, and began to build a new one.

By May 2013 I packed my bags and headed west. With the help of some friends, I moved to Wyoming for the summer. There I began my healing process. I committed myself to things I knew would make me feel good, and slowly let go of the “quick-fix” solutions.  I started eating better. I developed a meditation practice and began to exercise. I spent a lot of time outside in nature, reconnecting to the world around me.  I tried new things.  I took risks. It was exhilarating. I kept discovering more and more things about myself I never knew were there. And for the first time in a very long time, I felt great. Instead of focusing on all the things I lacked, I realized I could create abundance in my life just by shifting my thoughts. I was amazed at how much I had missed out on in the previous years. And what had changed? I had learned what it meant to truly care of myself.

Since then, I have dedicated my time to learning as much about health and wellness as I can. Now I am a certified health coach. If you had told me this years ago, I would not have believed it was possible. I had to make room in my life to grow. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has always been worth it.

Now my mission is to be your guide as you begin your own journey. I am determined to provide you with the tools you need to heal yourself.  When you decide to become your own health advocate, when you decide to truly show up in your life, empowering changes begin to happen. You hold the key to the rest of your life. Not your doctor. Not some self-help book. Not that ridiculously large bunch of kale. You.
