Looking for a fun way to add more texture and protein into your snacking! Think quinoa. Lots of it. Covered in chocolate. Thats right. Quinoa isn't only for sprucing up that salad; it belongs in dessert as well! These chocolate quinoa fudge squares are simple to make, and pack a mighty punch when your appetite gets out of control. These ingredients are so simple its easy to add variation and make them again and again. Enjoy!
Overnight in the freezer
1/2 cup nut butter of choice (almond butter, cashew butter, peanut butter)
1/2 cup raw honey
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1/4 cup cacao powder
2 cups cooked quinoa.
Stirs all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Pour into a small baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in fridge over night or for a few hours until frozen. Cut up into squares and enjoy!
Feel free to add your favorite flavors like cinnamon, coconut, vanilla, or cayenne!
