Dreaming of a tropical paradise with this antioxidant rich and delicious smoothie featuring mint and acai berry. Acai berry is a superfood native to central and south america. It is extremely high in antioxidants, vitamin A, and omega fatty acids. The mint provides a refreshing and cooling flavor, rounding out the overall sweetness. For this recipe I used Navitas Organics Acai Powder found online or in your local health food store.

1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1/2 cup frozen cherries
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
1 banana
1 tbs Navitas Organics acai powder
3 fresh mint leaves
1 cup coconut water (adjust for taste & desired thickness)
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. For extra fun, top with chopped strawberries, granola, shredded coconut, and chia seeds
