Grape Smoothie

Living in wine country we are surrounded by grapes. What better way to enjoy the bounty then by blending them into a delicious smoothie?! 

Ingredients

1 cup seasonal freshly picked red grapes

1 cup steamed then frozen zucchini*

1 peeled and seeded cucumber

1/4 cup blackberries

2 cups coconut water 

Directions

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy! 

Notes

*steaming the zucchini before freezing helps to decrease bloating and gas. and aids in digestion. Although it may sound different, zucchini is a great base for smoothies. They are relatively neutral in taste, add fiber, and are a better option for anyone trying to cut back on sugar.
