Homemade Italian Dressing

Prep Time

Prep Notes

This dressing should be called Everything but the Kitchen Sink Dressing because it is really putting your spice cabinet to good use. Classic store bought italian dressings are loaded with processed sugar and additives. Making your own italian dressing is a much better way to avoid the crap and experience the true flavors of these amazing spices. Also, it's much simpler than you think.

Cooking Time

5 minutes

Yields

8 oz

Ingredients

3/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup red wine vinegar

2 tsp dried oregano

2 tsp dried basil

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp dried rosemary

1 tsp garlic powder

2 tbs parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast

Directions

Add all ingredients to 8 oz mason jar. Seal the jar and shake until all ingredients are mixed together smoothly. Enjoy!

Notes

If you don't have all the spices on hand, don't sweat it! Get creative and throw in what you've got. You'd be surprised how simple it is to spice up any dish with just a few basic herbs.
