Turmeric Lemonade

Who doesn't love another way to use turmeric in their daily life?! This recipe is borrowed from the awesome blog Wellness Mama and is super easy to make. It's perfect for your next summer get together! I have tweaked some of the ingredients from the original recipe, and will include the original link below. 

Yields

4 cups

Ingredients

2 cups water

2 cups ice

Juice of 3 lemons

2 tsp turmeric

2 tbs coconut sugar (or natural sweetener of choice)

2 tbs chopped basil (optional)

Directions

Chop the basil and place in the bottom of your pitcher. Blend the rest of your ingredients in a blender and pour over the basil. Let sit for 10-20 minutes in the fridge, strain basil, and enjoy.
