Turmeric Tahini Dressing

Once you've gotten groovy with the sugar free life style, you'll notice how hard it is to find an affordable clean salad dressing at the grocery store! Most dressings, especially the name brands, are loaded with added sugars and rancid oils taking a beautiful salad with the best intentions into a nutritional train wreck. Fortunately there are people out there like Brittany Mullins of the food blog eating bird food to help us out. Her turmeric tahini dressing is a new favorite of mine. It tastes delicious on everything and is so simple! 

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 Tablespoon raw honey or maple syrup 
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • pinch - 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients into a small bowl and whisk together until smooth. Or add all the ingredients into a mason jar and shake to combine until smooth. Or add the ingredients into a blender and process until smooth.
